Day 1

Andahuaylillas – Raqch'i – La Raya Pass – Pukara

Early departure by panoramic bus. First stop at the church of San Pedro Apóstol de Andahuaylillas, known as the 'Sistine Chapel of America' for its stunning murals and gold leaf. Next, the monumental Raqch'i archaeological complex dedicated to the creator god Wiracocha. Then La Raya Pass (4,335 m), the natural border between Cusco and Puno, ideal for photos of snow-capped peaks. Buffet lunch in Sicuani, followed by a visit to the Pukara Lithic Museum before arriving at the final destination in the afternoon.
