Tipón – Pikillacta – Andahuaylillas

Tipón: an impressive set of agricultural terraces and finely carved water channels showing deep Inca mastery of hydraulic engineering and the Andean worldview of water. Pikillacta: a walled, highly symmetrical archaeological complex evidencing the Wari culture's presence in the Cusco region before the Incas. Andahuaylillas: a visit to its peaceful main square and the iconic colonial church of San Pedro, famous for its Mudéjar-style woodwork and gilded altarpieces. Return to the city of Cusco.
