Day 1

Cusco – Cachora – Capuliyoc – Chiquisca

Very early departure from Cusco to the town of San Pedro de Cachora. At the Capuliyoc viewpoint we meet our muleteer team and begin the panoramic descent into the Apurímac canyon, enjoying changing views of snow-capped peaks down to camp at Chiquisca.

Day 2

Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina – Marampata – Choquequirao

We cross the Apurímac River at Playa Rosalina to begin a steady, challenging zig-zag climb to Marampata, where we have lunch with canyon views. In the afternoon we arrive at the Choquequirao archaeological complex for a guided exploration of its terraces with stone llama reliefs.

Day 3

Choquequirao (Deep Exploration) – Chiquisca

A morning dedicated to exploring key sectors such as the Ushnu, the Llamas sector and the upper temples. After a countryside lunch, we descend back to Chiquisca for our last night under the stars.

Day 4

Chiquisca – Capuliyoc – Cachora – Return to Cusco

A final morning climb to the Capuliyoc viewpoint. Our private transport awaits to take us back to the city of Cusco after an unforgettable journey.
